Description

Mostly fast, fun descending following the South Canyon Creek drainage. This is a moto singletrack with some technical roots and rocks and several steep, punchy climbs.

Start by taking a right off of Big Hole Crest Trail #217 at Elk Flats, a wide open meadow. Follow the narrow singletrack as it drops into the forest on some loose and rocky terrain. Follow this down for six miles, occasionally crossing small creeks. Be ready to downshift for some short but steep climbs that break up the descent.

The trail ends at a 50-gallon drum that marks your turnaround onto North Fork Canyon Creek if riding the Canyon Creek Loop.
