Description

Trail 17 begins at its eastern terminus N. County Rd. 980 W. just north of Tipton Creek. It heads to the west, past the southern terminus of Hickory Ridge Trail 16, and ends at its western end at Trail 16 again.

It climbs gradually from east to west until you reach a pipeline right-of-way. When the trail crosses the ROW, it descends steeply to its western terminus.

Trails nearest the Horse Camp receive higher horse traffic and, therefore, have more horse bogs. They are better to ride in the wintertime when frozen.
