Description

The eastern end of Trail 18 begins where it intersects near the midpoint of Hickory Ridge Trail 20, near the town of Maumee, IN. Trail 18 is one of the better trails in the Hickory Ridge system for bikes, and it has pretty good flowy sections.

It heads generally west until shortly after it crosses N. County Road 1460 W., where it turns to the south to intersect with Hickory Ridge Trail 4. There are a couple steeper grades (both up and down) near its western terminus at Hickory Ridge Trail 4.

Trails nearest the Horse Camp receive higher horse traffic and, therefore, have more horse bogs. They are better to ride in the wintertime when frozen.
