Description

Park in downtown Sunol near the train station. The trail starts with a very steep paved driveway on Foothill Rd about 50 yds from the train station. The trail is a fire road with little shade but great views of the canyon to the West. It climbs steadily for several miles passing other fire roads that cut off to the Ridge Trail that runs parallel to the East. The trail starts in Pleasanton Ridge Park (East Bay Regional Park District). At about 3 miles, it enters Augustine Bernal Park (City of Pleasanton) where it ends at the Ridgeline Trail.
