Description
One Day connects the bottom of
Gravity Cavity and
Stonehouse on the east to the bottom of
Three Ravines and
Ho Chi Minh on the west.
Heading west on One Day from
Gravity Cavity and
Stonehouse will start with a small creek crossing and go up a series of bermed switchbacks through an old homestead. The switchback climb ends at an old cistern. Immediately after crossing a wooden bridge will be a three-way intersection.
Left will bring you to 107th Street; Turning right will take you to the Saganashkee Slough Boat Launch and the Fisherman's Trail which leads to
XX and
Canal. Heading straight at the 3-way intersection will be a climb up an old road which was the driveway for the Palos Golf Course from the early 1900's. One Day ends at a three-way intersection with
Three Ravines and
Ho Chi Minh.
Heading east on One day from
Three Ravines and
Ho Chi Minh starts with a downhill ride down the old Palos Golf Course driveway. The downhill ends at a three-way intersection.
Taking the trail to the right goes to 107th Street (heading right on 107th Street will take you to Saganashkee Slough Boat Launch, Fisherman's Trail,
XX, and
Canal). Heading straight to continue on One Day will cross a wooden bridge and eventually past an old cistern for a long abandoned homestead. Ride the bermed downhill switchbacks through the homestead and across a small creek crossing. One Day ends at the bottom of
Gravity Cavity and
Stonehouse.
