Description
Take the paved asphalt multi-use trail #3. Be sure to pick up your free trail map located in the mailbox at the trailhead to your left or use the
MTB Project mobile app to navigate. Continue downhill on multi-use trail #3. Cross over the rusted bridge. You'll begin a gradual climb after the bridge. Keep your eyes scanning to the right for the green Loop D trailhead sign - it can be very easy to miss.
Upon entering the trail, you'll be greeted by the slick pine-covered ground, so be easy on the turns. If you started the day riding loops A, B & C and your legs are not up for the task to complete Loop D, there is a bailout after the 1.5-mile marker. If you are up for the challenge, cross the wooden bridge, hang a right, and continue on.
Loop D is one way and well-marked. As you complete the loop it spits you back out onto the paved multi-use trail #3. If you want to chalk up more miles, continue onto
Loop E.
