Description

Inside Line is an alternative route to Outer Loop North that cuts across the middle of the Fun Loops in the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. Several marked connector trails along this trail can take you to either the Outer Loop North or the Outer Loop South. The trail makes its way through open forests and features a gentle climb from the Outer Loop South to the Outer Loop North.

To reach Inside Line, turn left at the information sign at the base of the Escarpment Trail. At the next intersection, turn right onto Outer Loop South. After passing a connector trail, take your first left. The trail ends at the three-way intersection with Inside Line and Outer Loop South.

I recommend riding this trail as part of a large loop that connects to Outer Loop South and climbs to Trail #6, to access the upper Elm Ridge trail system.
