Ride past the east trailhead of the Capulin Loop 0.8 miles up Sidewinder Road from the Sidewinder/Witches Canyon Parking Lot. Turn right at the singletrack that heads northwest into a narrowing canyon. At 0.5 miles on the singletrack, you'll cross the dry creek bed for the first time. You'll cross it again in a short distance, climb up a short steep rocky section, the drop into and ride up the creek bed.

At mile 0.7 you'll ride onto the 2 track down in Witches Canyon. Follow the 2 track to the right and out of the canyon. At 0.8 miles, you intersect South Witches Canyon Road. Turn right and ascend back to the southeast on South Witches Canyon Road. At mile 1.05 turn right on the singletrack heading southeast. This singletrack returns you to the Sidewinder Road where the loop ends at mile 1.75 at the east trailhead.
