Description

Parking for the Smith Preserve trails is on Guinea Road, just off of Gooserocks Road in the northwest corner of Kennebunkport.

To access this trail, follow the Steele Trail (a good warm-up) to marker #6. This trail is loosely marked. Because the trail was only cut in October, it still needs to be 'ridden-in' and is therefore very challenging with many soft spots.

Even once it's established this will be one of the more difficult trails in the Preserve as there are many obstacle-corners, switchbacks and steep transitions. There is a fair amount of elevation change and a 30-foot wooden bridge at one point. This is a loop trail that starts and finishes in the same spot.
