Description

From Paul's Trail, after you cross a dry creek bed, the trail will fork. Stay left to hop on Upper Sidewinder. Like most Rifle trails, this trail rides well in both directions.

If you go north to south, the trail climbs gradually almost the entire way before dropping abruptly to Lower Sidewinder. If you go South to North, you have to climb a steep loose section right off Lower Sidewinder and then you get a fast, fun descent to Paul's Trail. Either way, this is a nice alternative to vary your riding experience in Rifle.
