Description

This short trail takes you from South Valley Trail Loop over to the edge of the water of Horsetooth Reservoir. Before you reach the water, you'll pass over two small hogbacks. The trail has a series of rock steps on both ends, especially the East end, intended to make the climb/descent a bit easier for those on foot. It makes the ride on your bike very interesting and riding down to the water is pretty fun. Turning around and climbing back up the "stairs" is also a great challenge. Don't miss the hook-up with Hogback Overlook Trail for more singletrack action up this way!

Made it part way back up the stairs, but had to put a foot down once or twice. Dangit!
