Description
Oka Run Trail is two-way traffic. The trail starts (or ends) at
Walnut Pond where the
Walnut Connector and
Walnut Trail meet. After a short ride on some lively singletrack, you'll come upon the Oka Run creek crossing. For safety, you might want to stop and check this section before proceeding. The Oka Run creek crossing can be a "walk-a-bike" section for some riders.
After crossing the creek, you'll meander along a moderate climb, to a series of tight and steep switch-backs. You are now on the ridge line at the highest point of the trail. Shortly, you'll see a sign to your left for the Li'l Rampage - Downhill Trail. Turn right and get ready for a long, tight and sometimes challenging downhill section.
Follow the trail to the right where it meets with the bottom of Li'l Rampage. Next up, you'll find some nice flowy trail to the next creek crossing, with a bridge. Continue on the trail with some tight turns and short ascents and descents until you get to
Artesian Well Road (more like an old road bed), turn right, you'll cross the creek again before meeting up with the end of
Walnut Trail.
