Description

This trail is part of the original Reynolds Trail system - its a short climb to the overlook/bench then a steep descent back to the road.

Once you get to the top of the North Fork Trail, you have 3 options:
- turn around and bomb 9 miles back down on north fork..
- turn left and descend the Hummingbird Trail to the road, making a short loop to come back to the North Fork Trail.
- go straight and climb up the northern section of the Hummingbird Trail to the overlook, then descend what is about 28% grade.

If your preference is to create a lollipop at the end of the North Fork Trail, It's recommended to to take Hummingbird counterclockwise. If instead you're looking to add on a short bit to your ride, continuing straight on the Hummingbird Trail, and then turning back around will give you a thrilling addition.
