Description

Fast and flowy, very fun singletrack. Enter the woods next to the park benches and immediately hit the undulating singletrack that soon drops down towards the lip of The Cauldron.

The trail surface is either hard pack or "loose over hard pack." Watch your traction in turns, as they are high speed and you may break traction and go down if you don't pay attention.

Hold your speed though the sharp left hand turn and squeeze through the trees. Soon you'll see the entrance drop off to The Cauldron on your right. If it's dry, drop in! If not, continue straight and you'll continue to weave through the tight trees like a mini roller coaster (with less elevation changes).

Hit the U-Turn and continue along the Brazos River (barely visible through the thick trees) and soon you'll hit the open field, and with it the connector singletrack trail that leads to the West Loop. There are no trail junctions in this loop, so you won't get lost. Takes about 5 minutes to complete for the really fast guys...
