Description

Cougar Ridge is an old ranch road that climbs up to Toyon Ridge from the Youth Overnight Camp. There are many places where the trail is pretty steep and some bits are sandy. This is another route to get up to Pipeline Trail via Whale Trail or a way down if you want to avoid the Pipeline Trail.
