Description

This trail network is divided into two sections--the lower (western) section follows an easier section of the red loop, the upper section ascends the hill, and briefly plays along the hilltop.

The green blazes are not particularly fresh so many will be difficult to spot in the northern branch.

Try riding the loop fully clockwise starting at the northwest corner. The trail will intersect itself in the middle, head up the hill to the left to top out on the summit. For you climb, reward yourself with a flowing downhill descent on the southeast branch.

Alternately, try the trail as a figure 8 -- start at the northwest tip and head south along the wider trail, begin the ascent as you leave the red loop and continue to the upper section in a clockwise direction (again, fun flowing downhill) and cross over the previous intersection and take the northwest descent counter clockwise, the Green Northern Alternate path to the left is more commonly ridden and thus easier to get onto than the actual green descent.

The hilltop provides some lovely autumn sunset views.
