Description

This is the lower/northwest end of the Zig-Zag trail (a section of the Purple Loop). This section is very rocky and technical for Hartwood. If you are riding Zig Zag from the northeast end, this provides an exit to the stables that is interesting and technical as opposed to continuing on the Purple Loop which means a very steep, dead straight rooty ascent onto a near doubletrack trail.
