Family Friendly Fairly easy trails, and the park has a swing set.

Only closed when muddy or after dark.

Description

Parking is along Kedron Blvd by the park. Ride north to the paved path and follow it to the right across the wooden bridge. There is a trail map sign at the east end of the bridge and that is where most of the trails start. The Orange and Purple Trail go right from the path and split in about 50 yards. Stay right for the Purple Loop.

This trail is XC-ish and has a couple alternate lines, including one short gully ride. It is possible about half way around to get confused and wind up on the Inner Mile (Orange Loop), but that's okay as you end up back at the same place.
