Description

This is a trail that makes great use of the existing terrain through excellent layout and judicious bench cutting. The clockwise descent is also really fast and fun. The Dark Side of the Moon connects to numerous trails north of Volcano Rd. at its eastern end, and Gary's Grind where it finishes at picnic shelter #3 on upper Mud Lick Run. This is a beautiful area of the park with big trees and steep slopes.
