Description

As a gradual uphill ridden northeasterly off the Mansion Trail near the Caretaker's Home foundation ruins, this trail is pleasant enough, but it is in the opposite direction, taken off the Power Line trail, that this singletrack really shows its personality--speedy and undulating through trees and small drainages. It also has a small ladder bridge over a large, downed oak that requires consideration in terms of approach speed; it's easy enough to roll over, but at speed there's the potential for air time. This trail is also very useful in conjunction with others south of Volcano Rd. for putting together larger loops in this area.
