Description

To access the Dogwood Trail, park at either the Leslie Road Parking or the Picnic Area Parking. The trail is bidirectional, and is certainly rideable in multiple directions. Headed west it's all uphill, some of which is steep at times. The more flat area after the initial climb includes a long rock garden. You'll then come to a "T" intersection, where a left leads to the Dogwood Loop, and right turn continues the Dogwood Trail. This portion is also a steady uphill with a steep climb just prior to the camping access road.

If taking this on from west to east, the portions of climbing become fast and fun descents. Use caution on that rock garden on your way down!

Lower section of Dogwood Trail along the creek. This is very near the one trailhead down along Beaver Creek. Many people hike/bike this section since it is so close to the creek and road.
