Description

Starting at Kinzel Lake Road, the Veda Lake trail climbs steadily and steeply up a drainage. Afterwards, the route traverses left towards a ridge to the west. There are great views of Mt Hood to the north.

As the route starts its descent, gradual at first, it turns from the west and heads back to the north. As the downhill gets steeper, you'll encounter a few switchbacks before dropping off a ridge, down towards the lake.

Veda Lake is a great place to spend the day with plenty of opportunities for swimming, picnics and fishing.
