Description

The top of Sidewinder Trail splits off from AARP Trail, the bottom empties onto Big Ditch Trail. Sidewinder Trail is the most technical and difficult of the Greenhorn Park trails- there are some notable steep sections, several switchback and hairpin turns, the trail is build on the side of a steep slope, and there many rocks and roots to avoid.

The trail surface is mostly hardpack. This one can get muddy with rain, but not as bad as the lower trails in Greenhorn Park.

The trail is popular with hikers, dogs, other bikes, and runners, please stay in control and be careful. Have fun!
