Description

The paved path is best for slower cyclists and pedestrians. The shoulder of the road is wide for close to 18 miles. This route connects Northville to Dearborn along the Ed Hines Rouge River linear park.

Several segments of singletrack ALSO connect through the park.

A recommended route would be riding Lakeview Trail, Riverview Trail, Oak Grove, Three Fires, and Trail 47. Enjoy the skills area and pump track at the east end of Trail 47 and then reverse. Prior to getting on Riverview, hit up Levan Knoll on the return trip. These segments include a balance of two-direction and single direction traffic.

Note: access to Trail 47 from the west end currently is prohibited due to a bridge in disrepair. Access it from the east end until further notice. Trailheads with parking exist at or near all segments except the west end of Oak Grove.

These trails are maintained by volunteers from the Motor City Mountain Bike Association.
