Overview

If a shuttle can be arranged, this trail would be much more fun in the predominantly downhill (east to west) direction.

Need to Know

Thorn bushes and trees are in great abundance here. Water requiring purification will likely be available at stock tanks along the way.

Description

The passage features an abundance of short, steep hills, gates, and dry wash crossings. It is mostly singletrack but there are a couple of road sections in the middle. The terrain is fairly consistent with the rest of the AZT, and a few sandy portions should be expected. In general, this is a fun trail that will require intermediate skill.
