Kessler Park is an urban park located in northeast Kansas City. It's about 1 mile from downtown KCMO and is situated along the top of one of the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River. It is roughly 300 ft top to bottom so we should be able to get some elevation in this park eventually. Right now, it is an out-and-back with a few other options to make some short loops. The Kessler Park Trails drop down to Cliff Drive (some people refer to the trails as the Cliff Dr. trails), and you have to use the road to get to the Indian Mound Trail. We are currently building this system out and this will eventually be singletrack all the way to Indian Mound. It continues to be a work in progress, but we are finally to a point where you can get roughly a 10-mile ride, out-and-back. Eventually, there will be a lower line and several smaller loops. There is also a one-way downhill trail, a pump track, and some dirt jumps that are in the design and approval phase.
