Overview

This trail is great to see a lot of scenery. The uphill along Wilson Creek Rd. is long, so the granny gear is recommended with just a spinning cadence, but the downhill is worth it! Fast and well put together, the downhill section offers plenty of lines down Wilson Creek.

Need to Know

Bring water! Especially if you ride in the summer. Could be windy on the top of the hills. Suggest bringing a backpack with pump, tubes, and chain due to the terrain and many sharp rocks on the trail.

Description

This ride is all access road headed up on Wilson Creek Rd. and the downhill is an old 4WD road that might be washed out in several places, but there is singletrack on the sides of the road. The last section is singletrack with a little climb at the end to loosen those muscles back up before you return to the start point.

Expect rocks, bumps, and hard terrain. Riding with clips would be preferable for the long climb and bumpy downhill (so your feet don't slide off). I really enjoy flying down this trail. The uphill is really rewarding, and offers a great training ride.
