Description

Part of the Allatoona Creek Mountain Bike Trails System, Hocus Pocus features a narrow, primitively built and maintained trail with short, steep climbs, off-camber sections, challenging root/rock gardens (see pictures), and beautiful views of Allatoona Creek. It is marked with orange diamond shaped blazes nailed to trees. Please be aware Hocus Pocus is a difficult loop in a remote section of the park. Come prepared to take care of yourself and know your skill and endurance limits. Round trip from the main parking lot is more than 11 miles. You must ride both Mumbo Jumbo and Voodoo to get to the Hocus Pocus Connector and Hocus Pocus Trailhead.

Those on foot should travel in the opposite direction of cyclists, and are asked to yield to cyclists using the trails. The trail direction changes daily so check the signs at the trailhead. The trail may close due to wet conditions.

Please check the West Georgia IMBA page for trail status.
