Description
With a number of diverse habitats in a fairly remote area, Huntsville State Park is a must-see natural area. Along the trail, keep an eye out for the work that was done by the Civilian Conservation Corps (for whom the CCC Trail was named after). There are several places to pick this trail up off of other park trails and roads. Some of the route is improved dirt roads used by the park maintenance team to maintain the more remote parts of the park. Use the parking area off of State Park Rd 40 for the start of this trail near the start of the Chinquapin Trail.
