Description

To pick up the trail, ride to it using the CCC Trail, near the Huntsville State Park Nature Center in a clockwise manner to the South Loop trail at mile 0.75. You can also park outside the Huntsville State Park on the I-45 Feeder road if you don't want to pay the $5/person fee to hit it from the park side.

This trail is a good addition to the Chinquapin Trail nearby and well worth the $5 for parking and the added mileage! The trail is pleasant, easy riding through the trees. It has a few dips through small creeks that are dry in the summer.
