Located in the Park at Governor Dick, Trail 1 is the gem of the park. This white-diamond blazed trail features rocks, turns, and short ups and downs. Not recommended for beginners, expert riders will be tested while trying to clean the trail and not walk the rock gardens.

The trail starts right by the Possum Lodge (Environmental Center) and can be done as an out-and-back, or as a loop with Trail 13 and Trail 5. Another recommended loop addition is to climb Trail 2 to the tower, then descend Trail 4 onto Trail 1.
