Description

This east-west running trail starts just north of Edge Cutoff East, a little ways up 18 6/10 Rd. From the road, the trail climbs gradually as it winds in and out of small washes and avoids the local shrubbery. At approximately 1/3rd of a mile, the trail crosses another dirt road, then dives into a wash.

Once you've descended and ascended this small gully, the trail pops out onto a beautiful, open area with awesome views. From here, the trail descends quickly to another wash. Watch out for cactus here; they're just off the trail!

From this wash, the trail lazily ascends to an intersection with Chutes & Ladders. Generally, Chutes & Ladders is not ridden as an uphill trail, so I'd recommend turning left and choosing one of the descent options: Lower Chutes & Ladders, Down Uppity, or Vegetarian Loop.
