Description

A sinous trail on the south side of Lookout Mountain that flows over grassy meadows and dips into pine and oak gullies. It can be accessed via singletrack on either end or up a dirt road from the Sand Stone housing division.

For a view from the peak, head up the dirt road from the east end of the trail and hike/scramble 200 yards to the top of Lookout Mountain. There is a cut across in the middle of the trail for those who wish to avoid the more technical southern section.

This area is hot and usually overgrown in the summer. The best seasons, as with all of Lookout Mountain, are spring and fall.
