“This trail features pines and a creek crossing in a place where the sun never shines.
”
Entering from Screamer, the trail is very rocky at first, then eases a bit after crossing the creek. You're deep in the pines here, with lots of shade - this is one of the last places to dry out or thaw. Enjoy the manmade features over a large fallen tree, with a bypass. The tread is made up of soil and mostly decomposed forest litter.
