Description

This wide, smooth fire road connects the Big Springs Trailhead on South Park Drive at the south end with the Quarry picnic site on Wildcat Canyon Road to the north. The trail follows the ridge contour so there are no big climbs and it runs parallel to and then joins Lower Big Springs Trail. The short connector section from the Quarry picnic area up to the Seaview Trail is very steep.

I typically ride this trail in the reverse direction. Lots of people hiking during the weekends, but a nice alternative to the road.
