Description

Park on the small dirt parking lot on the east side of Mulholland Hwy about 1,000 feet south of Mountain Park Dr. and Mulholland Hwy.

The trail, which is sometimes referred to as Secret Trail, consists of hard-pack dirt and runs through low chaparral, small trees and a couple of creek crossings. There is not much to see from the trail itself, but when you get to Calabasas Peak Mtwy, you get a pretty, panoramic view of the Santa Monica Mountains.

I wouldn't recommend riding this trail after the rain since it gets really muddy. Be ready for some technical sections, a few steep climbs, and maybe a rock garden or two.
