Overview

This loop connects all the best sections of Harold Parker State Forest. There are many other trails in the park, so smaller loops can be made.

Need to Know

Hunting is allowed in this park during hunting season, so be careful.

Description

Start from Lorraine Campground, or park across the street at the Jenkins Rd parking lot. The singletrack is relatively easy to spot, although there are many trails here so a map or use of the MTB Project mobile app is recommended.

The start of this loop covers easier terrain, following the shore of some ponds. Then the trails get a little more technical with some climbing.

After crossing over Jenkins Rd, the trails ease back for a bit, but get more challenging towards the northernmost part of this loop. Then they ease back and follow fire roads to get to the Middleton Rd parking area.

Finally, they join up with the Yellow Dot Trail which is the best and burliest section of trail at Harold Parker.
