Overview

The change in Florida forest scenery from scrub pine fields to some very close quarters and dense forest keeps things interesting and exemplifies riding in the deep forest of Florida.

Description

Immediately NW of the town of Paisley, Florida, the trail runs between the Clearwater Lake Recreation Area at the south end and the Alexander Springs Recreation Area at the north end.

The trail is fast, flowing XC-style riding with the biggest challenge being short areas of sugar sand. This loop goes out to the midway connect, rides the midway connect from the east to the west end, and then rides the western part of the trail back to the starting trailhead. The trails are all very well marked with a yellow diamond.
