Description

This is the best part of the trail system with plenty of fast downhills, climbs, and excellent carving corners. Connect to this one from the end of Porc Chop Trail as it heads back toward Red Rock Rd and the Red Rock Trail, which brings you back to the start of the Juniper Creek Primitive Area Loop.

This section has great flow as it induces you to gather your momentum on the descents only to gently turn you around and help push you up the inevitable ascents. Most of this section of trail travels through open, upland pine or sandhill plant communities. However, there is a hardwood hammock that this trail section offers that is tight, technical, and as fast as you want it to be. Serpentinas completes the main loop while Red Rock Trail will have you in the air a couple of times before you arrive back at your vehicle.
