Description

Up where the wealthy live in beautiful homes, the trees grow tall and flowers bloom everywhere. You won't mind that half of this trail is along the edge of backyards because everything is so lovely and shaded.

Starting off of Via Campesina, the trail is flat, wide, and covered in wood chips. Things will get better, but for now just enjoy the scenery. The trail eventually slopes down and gets really fun. It also narrows into singletrack. The trail crosses a few streets - slow down and look both ways!

After you cross Pso Del Campo, the trail has so much sand in one spot that it will stop you in your tracks. Power through it, then after a short flat section there is a steep part. Prepare to briefly slide and maybe foot tap down a curving, sandy chute. Cross the dry, rocky stream bed, where the singletrack continues through the shade and then up the exposed, sandy hill to the Malaga Dunes, where you'll have a few fun options.
