Description

This singletrack trail is fast and flowing with very little elevation change. Unlike the tight, twisty, slalom-course style of Carbo, this trail has long, fast straight-aways between the sweeping 180° corners.

The surface is mostly hard pack and reasonably grippy pine needles thus the high speeds, but the corners can have loose sand so be careful lest you get a case of the front tire wash out.

Race Trail is ridden usually after riding Carbo. Carbo extension heads north and merges with Speed Demon. At the northeast corner of Speed Demon there is a "Y" intersection and and a small sign indicating the start of Race Trail.
