An annual fun, challenging cycle ride or run/walk on the Raetihi-Pipiriki Road in the Ruapehu region.

You can enter online or walk up and enter on race day. Just show up an hour before your race to register and get ready. The 50 km cycle and the 18 km fun run start at 11am. The 25 km 'downhill' cycle with a bus back, starts at 11:30am, and the 18 km cycle starts at 12 noon.

Held every year on Easter Sunday, this event is a chance to celebrate the sealing of the Historic Raetihi-Pipiriki Road. There are four options for this route. There is an 18 km out-and-back cycle ride, suitable for all ages (still two big hills though), a 50 km ride that has 25 km of uphill (the Gutbuster), a 'downhill' option, for those who want to see the scenery without having to ride back up, and for those without wheels, an 18 km run on the original Gutbuster route.
