Family Friendly Multiple trailheads and a gentle trail make this a great option for the whole family.

Description

The Butler-Freeport Community Trail covers the route of Butler County's first railroad (1873). The trail is level with a crushed limestone surface, which makes it a popular destination for the various visitors that use the trail.

The trail is a multi-use path, so be on the lookout for fellow cyclists and those on foot. If you're visiting the trail in the spring, be sure to slow down to appreciate the various types of wildflowers that dot the landscape or stop to listen to birds in the trees.
