Star Gap Road is a county maintained road along Red River, through the privately owned Red River Campground, and into a mostly forgotten part of the National Forest. This road could be used as a bikepacking/overnight destination, a nice family get away, or just a mellow get away far from the crowds.

Please respect private land beyond the gate at the end of the county maintained portion of the road. Please respect the private property at the campground. If you would like to park there please obtain permission before doing so. If you camp at the campground obviously this road makes for a great ride from your campsite.
