This trail is known by two names: Elk Drop on trail signs and Fast Times on trail maps. Both names refer to this same trail.

From the top of Tick Alley before the final connection over to Itch and Scratch there is a small snow melt reservoir and a trail to the right side as you climb. There is a very obvious trail sign labeling it as Elk Drop.

This trail has a few up and downs that will require short, strong bursts of climbing. In between there are some rocky areas and rooted sections that will keep you on your toes. There are a few sudden turns, and you can certainly get a ton of speed on this trail. The majority of the route is singletrack that flows and weaves through the trees.

At the bottom, the trail opens up to some doubletrack then heads into an open forested area with signs of prior camping. The main trail that will meet this trail is Star Wars near these camp areas. Star Wars is found after you pass trough the camping area and has a sign off to the right.

There is a sign and the wider doubletrack that continues as Elk Drop, and the trail transitions to a blue rated section.
