Description

To start Sertig to Rinehorn, ride off pavement and onto singletrack on the west side of the valley. From here, expect a steep, punchy climb to gain the the higher slopes. The canopy is open at first and then route quickly enters the forest and traverses through dense pine trees.

The climbing is steady throughout with big roots and chunky rocks for some added challenge.

As you pop out of the forest, you'll be treated to a final punchy climb that ends at a picnic area. Don't be surprised to see locals grilling their favorite meats here! Follow the road past the small cabin to the small ski area. This is a great place to stop for a snack or meal before continuing on.

There are a few trails back to Davos to choose from. The Alps Trail Davos IMBA Epic continues on the Rinehorn to Monstein Trail.
