Family Friendly Short and thus fun for the whole family!

Description

The blue-blazed loop has several access points from the shelters and playground. There is also parking near the start of the trail off Kurn Road.

From the road, take the Orange Blue Dot Connector for about 100 feet to connect to the Blue Blaze Trail. Hang a left, and start downhill through pine trees. The trail continues through several switchbacks and then crosses over the park road.

Follow the trail until it intersects with the Green Blue Dot Trail. Make a right to stay with Blue. Continue along until the trail intersects with a a power line cut, follow the power lines and turn right back into the woods.

From here, the trail dips down into the woods where there will be some logs. Connect with the doubletrack. This is also a Red Blaze Trail. Follow the doubletrack to a park shelter, then head left up the doubletrack. The Blue Blaze Trail will continue off to the right, and a short fast section of singletrack marks its end.
