Description

Rinehorn to Monstein starts near the top of the Rinerhornbahn lift and rolls out on mellow grades to the south. There's a mix of open meadows and clusters of trees before a fun descent through a big drainage.

Afterwards, there are a few steep and punchy climbs to regain a traverse through more forest. From there, the trail undulates through tall and mature pines. This forested section ends at a cluster of chalets.

Stay right to follow a road down to a right hand turn onto another fast and chunky section of singletrack. The forest will finally give way to some high meadows with big views. When you see another small village below, prepare for the last steep descent into the village of Monstein.

For the Alps Trail Davos IMBA Epic, continue on the Monstein to Wiesen Trail.
