Description
Access this trail by starting at the concrete slab just off of Pepper Road. Follow the trail down stairs through an old farm field, crossing a bridge to the beginning of a ridge. Stay on the ridge heading to the east along the old farm fields.
At an intersection, stay to the right (straight) and continue down the ridge. You'll wind along the trail for about a 1/2 mile on the ridge with an old cypress swamp to your left, before crossing a second bridge.
As you continue, you may encounter a small water crossing followed by a left jog in the trail leading to a third bridge. Continuing along the trail, you'll come to an intersection where a new trail,
Kite Flight Spur, has been started heading off to the left. This is a nice optional out-and-back add-on. From the spur, continue to the southeast, back to Pepper Road and the end of the trail.
