Description

This trail starts at the cattle guard near the west end of Edwin Rd. Travel south and stay left past the windmill to follow a short section of doubletrack. Keep your eyes peeled for a left turn off the doubletrack. The lower section is old jeep road and cow trails with plenty of washes to cross. After the Mesquite Grove and main wash crossing, the climb begins. The trail is easy to follow and is much like the lower trails of Honeybee with a bit more punchy climbs. This trail is an up and back because of private property beyond the cattle gate that marks the end of the trail. Experienced riders will enjoy a few technical sections to climb and the notorious V that can be very difficult to clear.
